An Egyptian activist said an emerging opposition leader in Egypt has called for a boycott of the upcoming elections.
Ibrahim Nawar, a senior member of the opposition National Front Party says former U.N. nuclear watchdog head Mohammed ElBaradei made his remarks during a meeting with party members Monday to discuss political strategy. Nawar says ElBaradei called for the boycott to "deprive" President Hosni Mubarak's regime of legitimacy. (AP)
