The High Court of Justice has accepted a petition by writer and journalist Ala Hlehel and will permit him to visit Lebanon for the 39th literary festival in Beirut, in which he has been nominated for and award.
The Prime Minister's Office has supported the Interior Ministry in its refusal to allow the writer to travel to Lebanon because of a law prohibiting any Israeli citizen or resident to travel to an enemy state. (Merav Yudilovitch)
