Minister Yishai boycotts debate on Ukrainian visas
Interior Minister Eli Yishai boycotted a debate by a ministerial committee appointed to approve a visa agreement between Israel and the Ukraine, claiming that a professional required to be present is currently out of the country.
The debate took place among the Yisrael Beiteinu ministers, who are in conflict with Shas ministers on the issue. Yishai says the Ukraine is "a source of prostitution and human trafficking", but official sources say just two Ukrainian prostitutes were arrested this year. (Roni Sofer)
