Rivlin eulogizes Kaczynski: Main layer in renewed ties
Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin signed a book of condolences for the late Polish President Lech Kaczynski, who was killed in a plane crash on Saturday.
"The president was one of the main layers of the renewed ties between Israel and the Polish people, despite the past. The Israeli Knesset, including all its 120 members, bows its head in memory of the parliament members who were killed in the tragedy. The Knesset makes special honor of the memory of parliament member Arkadiusz Rybicki, who was head of the friends of Israel association," Rivlin wrote. (Ronen Medzini)
