Central Command chief removes right-wing activist from West Bank
Central Command Chief Major-General Avi Mizrahi has signed an executive restraining order against right-wing activist Elhanan Gruner to be removed from the Wes Bank for four months. The order maintains that Gruner poses a threat to the region's security and public wellbeing.
The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel stated in response, "The use of restraining orders is an unacceptable offence of human rights. This arbitrariness must be stopped. If there are evidence of offences on the part of Gruner he should be indicted and not arbitrarily be denied his freedom." (Shmulik Grossman)
