Obama to attend funeral of Polish president

US President Barack Obama announced that he intends to visit Poland on Sunday to be present at the funeral of Polish President Lech Kaczynski who died in a plane crash in Russia.
The White House said Obama intends to come to Krakow to express the depth of his sorrow over the death of an important ally and his support for the Polish nation, in the name of the American people. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
