US President Barack Obama said that severe sanctions against Iran will make it think seriously about the costs and benefits of its nuclear program, and compel it to come to the right decision.
Obama said that sanctions are not a magic formula, and that it would not be easy to impose them, but promised to push for a decision to be made for severe sanctions. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
