Iranian official says Iran already produced 5 kg 20% enriched uranium
Iran has already produced five kg (about 10 lbs) of uranium enriched to 20%, said the country's nuclear energy organization chief, Ali Akhbar Salehi.
Iran started enriching uranium to this high level in February, and claims it is to fuel its research reactor in Tehran. The Iranians are in position of about two tons of low-enriched uranium at 3.5%. (AFP)
