Hamas denies ordering shut down of Gaza tunnels

Ihab al-Rassin, Hamas interior spokesman, denied claims that the Gaza smuggling tunnels were ordered closed by the organization. Al-Rassin said that as long as the coastal enclave remains under blockade, the tunnels will remain in operation.
Earlier, it was reported that Hamas ordered smugglers to stay out of the area of the tunnels due to heavy traffic of Israeli unmanned drones along the Sinai border. (Ali Waked)
