Barak: Pressuring Israel to sign NPT out of place

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said during a ceremony commemorating fallen IDF soldiers among Defense Ministry employees, "We are searching for and will continue to search for peace from a place of strength. We want it. However, to our friends, our allies, we will also say, 'Pressuring Israel to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty."
"Israel has never threatened to annihilate countries and peoples, while Iran today, and in the past Syria, Lybia, and Iraq, who signed this treaty, have systematically violated it with explicit threats to Israel," said Barak.
