Peres meets with French FM

President Shimon Peres said during a meeting with French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner that the aim of his visit was to promote the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians.
Peres noted that Israel's top political echelon were all in agreement over the two-state solution. The president added that another objective was to thwart the Iranian nuclear threat, which was endangering peace in the entire world. (Gilad Halpern, Paris)
