Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat responded to the Holyland affair on Wednesday saying, "This is bad news for the city of Jerusalem. I hope the truth comes to light."
He added, "The Jerusalem Municipality will continue to assist the Israel Police in its investigation as needed." Earlier Wednesday, former Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski was arrested for his alleged involvement in the affair. (Ronen Medzini)
