IDF force fires at Palestinian laying bomb on Gaza border

An IDF force opened fire at a Palestinians trying to lay an explosive device along the border fence in the northern Gaza Strip, near Karni Crossing. An exchange of fire ensued during which the Palestinian apparently tried throwing a hand grenade at the IDF force. None of the IDF soldiers were injured. (Hanan Greenberg)
