Petah Tikva District Court Vice President Judge Avraham Tal rejected the appeal submitted by former Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski over the extension of his remand in the Holyland corruption affair.
The judge ruled, "The nature of the actions and the fact that the appellant knows more today than he knew before being investigated provides a cause for concern that he is likely to disrupt the investigation proceedings should he be released." (Yoav Zitun and Raanan Ben-Zur)
