Bishop tried for allegedly denying Holocaust

Ultraconservative British Bishop Richard Williamson is being tried in a German court for allegedly denying the Holocaust.

Proceedings opened Friday in a Regensburg local court against the 70-year-old bishop. Williamson had said in a TV interview recorded in Germany in 2008 he did not believe the Nazis had gas chambers to kill Jews and others. (AP)
