Israeli play heads to New York

The Timekeeper tells story of gay German, older Jewish man who are thrown into concentration camp

The Timekeeper, written by Dan Clancy and directed by Lee Gilat is heading to New York on April 22.

The Israeli production has toured England, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Greece and Canada.

The play tells the story of Hans, a gay German man, and a much older, conservative Jewish senior who’ve been thrown into the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

The two seemingly have little in common – except humor.

The cast includes Rami Baruch, Roy Horovitz and Omer Etzion. The Timekeeper will be staged for one night only, on April 22, in New York’s Theatre Row.
