Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Israel was "on a path leading to its demise".
In a speech honoring Iran's military Ahmadinejad called on the West to "abandon militarism and stop supporting Israel's murderous regime". He added, "After over 60 years, the states of the region want to uproot this destructive microbe, which is the main reason for the lack of security in the region." (AFP)
