Samhiuf appeals remand extension in Holyland case

Former deputy mayor of Jerusalem, Eli Samhiuf, appealed Petah Tikva District Court over the extension of his remand in the Holyland corruption case. His remand was extended by Rishon Lezion Magistrates' Court.
Samhiuf's lawyer said, "It cannot be that the magistrates' court released people involved in the affair while my client remains in detention." (Raanan Ben-Zur)
