Germany opens some airports until 1800 GMT

Germany has opened several airports for flights heading in an easterly or northerly direction until 1800 GMT on Sunday, a spokeswoman for German air traffic controllers said.

Frankfurt airport, Germany's biggest air hub, and the smaller nearby Hahn airport were open to flights heading north while five other airports are open for flights to and from the east. (Reuters)
