Peres: We must not dismiss Iranian threats
President Shimon Peres addressed the Iranian nuclear threat during his speech Sunday at the state ceremony marking the eve of Israel's Fallen Soldiers Remembrance Day and said, "There are those who still wish to destroy us, namely a tyrant Iranian regime seeking to seize the Middle East."
Peres added, "we must not dismiss threats but they must not dismiss our capabilities. We are not war mongers. We are a peace-seeking nation, but one which knows to protect itself." (Ronen Medzini)
