Neturei Karta riot, burn flags in J'lem

A number of haredim from the extreme group, Neturei Karta, protested against the State of Israel in Jerusalem. The protesters torched trash cans, ripped Israeli flags off of cars, pelted passing cars with stones, and tried to block the road. One of the drivers said that he was lightly injured by a stone thrown at him.
Police were dispatched to the scene and scattered the protesters. Municipal workers were asked to extinguish the trash cans and evacuate them. (Shmulik Grossman)
