Minister Herzog in Isfiya: Druze are our brothers

Welfare and Social Services Minister Isaac Herzog spoke at a ceremony commemorating fallen Druze soldiers and said, "We all understand that the bereavement you suffer is too difficult to bear. We are all aware of the huge debt our nation owes you and the feelings of disappointment sometimes prevalent in the Druze public. To all of this I will answer, with your permission, that despite this the bond between us is stronger than anything. It is a brotherly bond in every sense of the word – brothers in blood, emotion, fate, and destiny." (Roni Sofer)
