Iran says it arrests terrorists in Kurdish area

Iranian state TV says several members of a terrorist group plotting to attack the capital have been arrested in an area home to Iran's Kurdish minority.
The report quotes Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar as saying intelligence agents detained the group Tuesday and that they had been planning what he called sabotage operations in Tehran and in Iran's Kurdistan province. The minister did not identify the group. (AP)
