Court rejects MK Barakeh's motion to split indictment

The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court has rejected the motion of Hadash Chairman Knesset member Mohammad Barakeh to separate charges against him appearing in an indictment on four assault cases.
Barakeh is charged with assault, insulting a public servant and assaulting and hindering a police officer in the line of duty. The MK's attorneys said they would appeal the ruling in the High Court of Justice. (Vered Luvitch)
