Turkish FM says progress made in talks with Iran

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Wednesday that progress has been made in talks with Iran after meeting with his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki in Tehran Tuesday. He noted that he found the Iranians open to new ideas and was optimistic about future progress.

 

During a press conference in Tehran Tuesday, Davutoglu said that his country is willing to mediate between the Islamic Republic and Western nations for a solution to the Iranian nuclear program. ( AFP)
