Palestinians riot near Shufat checkpoint

Some 70 Palestinians held riots near the Shufat checkpoint in northern Jerusalem Wednesday and hurled metal bars and other objects at soldiers stationed in the site.
The riot apparently broke out after a man from a funeral procession leaving the refugee camp tried to drive through the roadblock prompting the soldiers to fire in the air. No injuries were reported. One of the rioters was arrested. (Shmulik Grossman)
