Stockholm Syndrome of a different sort

(Video) From opera singer to tour guide in largest Jewish community in Scandinavia, Marianne Prager facilitates more close up connection to Jewish heritage

VIDEO - From our Paideia Incubator Series out of Stockholm, Sweden, Marianne Prager found a way to highlight her loves.

Combining a wide-eyed fascination with history and a passion for reconnecting others, as well as herself, to Jewish heritage in this nether region of the world, Marianne Prager's work is not just about the Jews of Stockholm. Ultimately, it is about ourselves and our own stories.

Opera singer gone tour guide, you could say this is Stockholm Syndrome of a different sort. Prager has a love of history and learning, which led her from the stage to another kind of performing art: Giving people a visceral look into Jewish history in Stockholm, Sweden. Rediscovering her own roots in the process, Marianne wants people to feel more engaged.
