5 missiles fired at Persian Gulf in Iranian military exercise
Iran's Revolutionary Guards fired five missiles during a military exercise held in the Persian Gulf. Official Iranian sources said this is "a response to the military threats made by the US."
According to reports on Iranian television, the missiles fired were land-to-sea and sea-to-sea missiles that hit their intended targets. The exercise that was started on Thursday is meant "to display the capabilities of the Guards to defend Iran's borders." (AFP)
