None

A Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv made an emergency landing on Thursday after a smoke detector in the luggage compartment went off.

The Airbus plane, which was carrying 300 passengers, landed safely in Thessaloniki, Greece in order to perform a thorough examination of the luggage compartment. The company reported that the flight continued on to Israel after the alert was found to be a false alarm. (Yoav Zitun)
