MK Zeev denies Ovadia Yosef involvement in Holyland affair

MK NIssim Zeev (Shas) denied claims that Meir Rabin, the main suspect in the Holyland real estate corruption affair, transferred money to Rabbi Ovadia Yosef.
MK Zeev told Ynet, "Evil is he who slanders our master, even in a hint. This is an insult to a sage of Israel and this is a very serious matter." The MK accused to police of systematically leaking details of the investigation. "Why could they not be discreet?" he wondered. (Ronen Medzini)
