2009 sees record rate in complaints filed with Ombudsman

Exactly 12,639 complaints were filed with the Office of the Ombudsman in 2009, a 30% increase compared with the previous year, the institution's annual report indicates.

The data points to a record rate since the establishment of the Office of the Ombudsman in 1971. More than 30% of the complaints turned out to be justified. (Yaron Druckman)
