Iranian president may attend NPT review conference
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad may attend the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) review conference that opens at the United Nations next week, diplomats said on Wednesday.
"We heard that he intended to head the Iranian delegation," said one diplomat, saying he did not know if Ahmadinejad had yet formally applied for a visa from the United States. (Reuters)
