Supervisors remove private 'operators' from Sea of Galilee beaches
Supervisors from the Sea of Galilee towns association visited the inland lake as part of the campaign to "return its beaches to the public" and remove private beach "operators."
The supervisors were accompanied by security guards and put up signs informing visitors that the beaches would now be controlled by the association. It is expected that within a year the beaches will be open to public use once more. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
