Lieberman: Palestinians realize they can't blackmail Israel
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said the Palestinians have realized that "there is no use in trying to blackmail Israel, because there will be no more concessions".
Speaking at a press conference in Jerusalem, Lieberman added, "After they realized we are strong enough to stand up to all the pressure, they acted wisely and adhered to talks." The Foreign Ministry added later that Israel was prepared for direct talks and not merely proximity talks, "although we have doubts regarding the other side". (Roni Sofer)
