Police say car-bomb blast in Russia's Dagestan kills 2

A car-bomb blast that was likely set off by a suicide bomber killed at least two police and injured seven other people on Thursday in Russia's North Caucasus, a Dagestan province police spokesman said.

Citing preliminary information, the spokesman said a car blew up as it approached a police post about 100 kilometres north of Dagestan's capital Makhachkala. (Reuters)
