Qatari PM: 2-month time frame for proximity talks
Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani said Saturday that indirect negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians would only be allotted two months. He nevertheless noted that an extension would be granted should progress be achieved.
This, contrary to statements made by chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat, who gave the proximity talks a 4-month time frame. (AFP)
