Erez Efrati, a former bodyguard of IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, admitted assaulting and attempting to rape a woman, but claimed he was not guilty.
According to Efrati, he was not responsible for his actions as he was subject to alcohol poisoning which led to hallucinations. Efrati was accused of attacking his victim after his bachelor's party at the Tel Aviv Port, punching her and trying to rape her. (Vered Luvitch)
