Peres: We have proof Syria delivered Scud missiles to Hezbollah
President Shimon Peres told Danish Lene Espersen that "Israel has clear proof that long-range, accurate Scud missiles have been transferred from Syria to Hezbollah, and there is no doubt about it."
Addressing the proximity talks with the Palestinians, the president said that "the talks are a clear Israeli interest and need. Israel wants the establishment of an independent and stable Palestinian state." (Roni Sofer)
