NY police: No evidence of a Taliban link to bomb

New York City's police commissioner says there's no evidence of a Taliban link to a failed bomb found in a sports utility vehicle parked in Times Square.

Police found the SUV parked on one of the prime blocks for Broadway shows such as "The Lion King" after being alerted by two street vendors Saturday night. A group that monitors militant websites had said the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the SUV bomb, which didn't explode. (AP)
