MK Horowitz: Huldai is right – future of democracy is in danger

Knesset Member Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz) sided in the Knesset plenum with Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, who came out against private education, especially in the haredi sector, on Sunday.
"What did Huldai say all in all?" asked MK Horowitz during a discussion of no-confidence bills in the government. "What we all have been saying here for many long months. The Israel state school system is in danger, and the essence of Israel as Jewish and democratic is in danger, because the government is abandoning the education system." (Amnon Meranda)
