Baidatz: Abbas preparing ground for talks failure

Head of IDF research division Aman, Brigadier General Baidatz, said to the Knesset Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense, "Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas) is preparing the ground for the failure of the talks – which he thinks will reveal Israel's true face."
"Abu Mazen wants an agreement with Israel, but his flexibility on core issues is limited," he said. "We don't see in Abu Mazen any real attempt to be flexible on essential subjects, and he'll come with the same positions he came with during the last government." (Amnon Meranda)
