7 Druze suspected of involvement in violent incidents arrested

Police arrested seven Isfiya residents suspected of involvement in several violent incidents. Two individuals in possession of a dagger were detained for allegedly trying to run over a police officer. Four others were arrested on suspicion of trying to burn down a grove, and another for hurling a bottle at police officers.
Police sources estimated that the events are related to the Druze protest over the placement of a gas pipeline in the Yokneam region. (Ahiya Raved)
