Transport minister approves Timna airport planning budget

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz has approved the planning budget for the construction of an airport in Timna, which is slated to replace the existing one in Eilat. The overall budget amounts to NIS 1.7 billion ($460 million) and the planning budget stands at NIS 56 million ($15 million).
The planning stage is slated to stretch the next two years. (Yoav Zitun)
