United Arab Emirates security forces have identified five additional suspects in the January assassination of Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, the Wall Street Journal reported. If the report turns out to be true, the number of alleged assassins identified will be 32.
A source affiliated with the investigation told the Journal that the five suspects carried British, Australian, and French passports. The report added that investigators were checking whether one of them is Zeev Barkan, who is wanted by New Zealand's police for the Mossad passport fraud affair in 2004. (Ynet)
