Meeting between Barak, Mitchell concludes

The meeting between Defense Minister Ehud Barak and US special envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell has concluded. Barak's office reported that during the hour-long meeting the two discussed the launch of proximity talks between Israel and the Palestinians and leveraging them into direct talks between the sides.
