4 Druze arrested for rioting over gas pipeline

Police arrested four Druze residents of the Mount Carmel region in their 20s, who rioted outside the Carmel Police Station over night, burnt tires, and hurled stones at the station in protest of the laying of a gas pipeline on Druze land in the area.
The four will stand a remand hearing at the Haifa Magistrate's Court on Friday. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
