Syrian president visits Turkey

Syrian President Bashar Assad arrived in Turkey for a two-day visit, according to local press.
During his visit Assad is expected to meet with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as well as President Abdullah Gul. The leaders are scheduled to sign an agreement on communications cooperation as well as joint control of the countries' borders. (Roee Nahmias)
