MK Akonis: Palestinians are obstacle to peace

MK Ofir Akonis (Likud) said that the Palestinians were "an obstacle to peace."
Speaking at a cultural event in Bat-Yam, Akonis said, "The Palestinians are serial peace objectors and will cause the peace process to melt down. Everyone in the world currently understands that it’s time for direct and courageous negotiations, as the government is proposing, and the only ones who object are the Palestinians."
