Sarkozy cancels Moscow trip due to euro zone crisis

French President Nicolas Sarkozy has cancelled a trip to Moscow in order to handle the euro zone crisis, a spokesman for the Elysee Palace said on Saturday.

"Mr Sarkozy has cancelled the trip to Moscow due to the current crisis in the euro zone," the spokesman said. Sarkozy was scheduled to make a one-day trip to Moscow on Sunday to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the end of World War Two. (Reuters)
