Barak: Brave decisions will bring breakthrough

Defense Minister Ehud Barak lauded the PLO's decision to approve proximity talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

Barak said the decision "removed the obstacle standing in the way," and added he "hopes and believes that with responsibility and willingness to accept brave decisions on both sides, we will reach direct talks and achieve a breakthrough on the way to an agreement." (Roni Sofer)
